Swing and Blues Dancing Update

Hi folks! We haven’t been very vocal recently, but wanted to give an update as the state starts to move to fully open back up.
We are still on hiatus as of right now (August 2021), and are not holding dances. As our dances are primarily partner dances, and include a heavy social element, we have not felt that re-opening under heavy restrictions would allow us to offer dancing in the way that best represents it.
SWING DANCE OPPORTUNITY
UPDATE: SWING DANCING AT ALIBI IN TRUCKEE HAS BEEN PLACED ON HOLD DUE TO RISING CASES AND RESTRICTIONS. WE WILL LET YOU KNOW IF/WHEN IT RESUMES>
We have started the discussions about the right timing and method for restarting our own swing and blues dances in the area, and will blast it out through all our channels once we have decided on the right way to proceed.
